This month's speaker is Dr. Ryan Jackwood. Ryan joined Harpeth Conservancy as the Watershed Science and Restoration Program Director in March 2019. He provides strategic direction for science-based programs and implements restoration priorities based on water quality assessment. Ryan is originally from Ohio where he earned a B.S. degree from Ohio State University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Toledo researching issues with water quality and harmful algal blooms on Lake Erie

The Harpeth Conservancy, formerly known as the Harpeth River Watershed Association (HRWA), in middle Tennessee, is a science-based conservation organization dedicated to clean water and healthy ecosystems for rivers in Tennessee. It employs scientific expertise and collaborative relationships to develop, promote and support broad community stewardship and action.

The Williamson County League of Women Voters is a non-partisan volunteer organization that promotes engaged, informed, and active participation in government,  particularly local government.    The ZOOM link will be emailed to all registrants on the Tuesday before the meeting. If you register after Tuesday, you will be added to the waitlist. This means you may still attend, but you will get the link closer to the time the program is due to begin. Email maddie.hicks@brentwoodtn.gov  with any questions, or ehholmes@comcast.net, (LWV-WC program organizer.)
