Whether you’re just starting out or well on your way to a finished application, you’ll leave this program with practical tips for writing your essay, showcasing your strengths, and mastering the admissions process. It's never too late or too early to start!

 

This program is recommended for high school juniors, seniors, and their parents.

 

Kathy Dooley-Smith is a former high school English teacher and current freelance editor. Over the last 8 years, she has presented multiple times at Brentwood High School about successfully navigating the college admission process. Kassie Dooley-Smith is completing her master's degree in secondary education at Vanderbilt's Peabody College. For the last four years, she has been a Writing Consultant for the Vanderbilt Writing Studio and helped hundreds of students write their personal statements and college application essays. She also works with students across the country as a freelance college essay consultant.
