ONLINE - Navigating Grief and Loss: How Alzheimer's Disease Impacts the Emotional Grief Journey with the Alzheimer's Association In-Person

Alzheimer’s is often called the long goodbye, and grief begins while a person with dementia is still living. Melissa Burton, LCSW, CMC will share more about the grieving journey, the unique challenges posed by COVID-19, as well as healthy and helpful coping strategies. This program is designed both for those who are actively caregiving and those whose loved ones have passed.

Presented by the Alzheimer's Association which is the leading health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancements of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Register here and we will email you the link to sign on via Zoom. You will need access to a computer with email. The Zoom link will be emailed on July 19th.
