Are you interested in uncovering your African American roots? This presentation will cover tips and strategies for beginning your genealogy search, as well as approaches and resources that can be consulted to more thoroughly investigate the history and stories of individuals of African American ancestry.
This program is hosted by Taneya Y. Koonce, President of the Nashville Chapter of the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society (AAHGS Nashville). AAHGS Nashville's mission is to promote scholarly research and provide resources for genealogical and historical investigation, promotion, and preservation.
