Herb Gardens In-Person

Herb Gardens

Herbs have been used for culinary, medicinal and fragrance purposes for centuries.  Find out which herbs grow well in our region of Tennessee as well as which ones may be beneficial to your garden.  Discover how herbs can be used as beautiful plants in your landscape too!  We will also discuss the use of specific herbs as companion plants to enhance growth and/or deter pest issues.

“Ready-Set-Garden,” is a series of seven educational presentations exploring a variety of gardening topics to help Williamson County residents learn more about successful gardening in Middle Tennessee.

The talks are presented by members of the Williamson County Master Gardeners Association in conjunction with the Williamson County UT Extension of the Institute of Agriculture and the Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension.  The talks will focus on best horticultural management practices for our area.
