Join us for a discussion with photographer Lyn Stevens, whose work is featured on the library's gallery wall during the month of November. Lyn will talk about her background in music, her move to Nashville, and her approach to photography. There will be plenty of time for questions and lively conversation as Lyn walks us through the gallery and discusses her pieces that are on display.

Originally from Watertown, Wisconsin, Lyn Stevens is a Nashville-based artist. She is a self-taught photographer who combines her love of photography with her passion for music. Lyn approaches photography as a documentarian, based off the strong belief that she is documenting future history in a present-day moment.

Lyn’s photography is currently featured in the Soundwaves Gallery, located at GEODIS Park. Nashville in Rhythm is a one-of-a-kind exhibition curated by Nashville Soccer Club in partnership with the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville. The exhibition celebrates the intersection of sport and art to showcase the dynamic city Nashville SC calls home

Lyn's work has been featured in Country Weekly, Billboard, the Nashville Music Guide, and on the live telecast of the CMA Awards. Her pieces have also been exhibited at the Frist Art Museum and at the Williamson County Public Library. She sells her fine art photography prints at art markets in and around Nashville.
