Genealogy: Show Us Your Heirlooms!

Genealogy: Show Us Your Heirlooms! In-Person

Too often, our most cherished family artifacts live silent on our shelves and walls. Let's bring those in and talk about them. Through those beloved objects, we'll reconnect with our ancestors. History professor Thomas Flagel wants to see your treasures (bring at least one) and hear their stories (get ready to share). We'll finish with what these heirlooms mean in the big picture of history.

Dr. Thomas Flagel is a professor of history at Columbia State. He is the author of War, Memory, and the 1913 Gettysburg Reunion, and The History Buff’s Guide series. He has also worked with a number of historic preservation organizations.
