Tree Talk: How to Deal with Invasives In-Person
Invasive plants and insects cause extensive damage to trees and communities across Tennessee. From the destructive emerald ash borer to the ever-expanding kudzu, these invasives require unique and novel methods of control. Alex Bremner from the State Urban & Community Forestry Program will discuss why these invasives are harmful to our communities, what methods can be used to manage them, and how you can get involved in community efforts to combat these unwanted pests! This program is presented by the Brentwood Tree Board. We will gather in Meeting Room A.
Our presenters:
Alexander Bremner works for the State Urban and Community forestry program. Alex assists communities, municipalities, and groups across the state with anything trees, forestry, or urban green space management!
Katherine Kilbourne is the State Forest Health Program Specialist. Katy works across the state to monitor tree pests and diseases in order to protect, manage, and preserve our trees and forests.
