Portrait-Making with Words and Art

Portrait-Making with Words and Art In-Person

Join us to create unique portraits with words and art. Enjoy creative activities, recall heartwarming memories, and be inspired to create portraits of loved ones using visual art and writing. You'll create at least one unique portrait of anyone you choose. You'll also receive worksheets to encourage you to continue creating portraits after the workshop. The portraits are wonderful to keep in remembrance of a loved one or to give as gifts. No artistic skills required. Your instructor, Christy Lynch, will help you unleash your creativity. You are encouraged (but not required) to bring photos of your loved one(s) that you'd like to represent in a portrait.

This workshop is inspired by the presenter's book, Explore Your Life: A journey to discover, live, and write your legacy! One participant will receive a free copy of the book.

Christy Lynch is an author, speaker, artist, and life coach focused on helping people and organizations invest their time wisely. She's a professional member of the National Association for Productivity and Organization (NAPO) and provides services to our community through her Brentwood-based business, Ever Better Living. She is a member of several community and professional organizations, including the Arts Council of Williamson County, the Artist Guild of Nolensville, and the Nonfiction Authors Association.

This workshop is funded by the Friends of the Brentwood Library.
