3D Printing: Cities In-Person
Note: if you have a laptop or similar device, please bring it since we do not have enough laptops for everyone!
Our library staff will take participants through basic 3D design with the free design software Tinkercad and demonstrate how the 3D printing process works.
This week's project: Cities! Participants will receive instructions during the program for submitting and picking up their completed designs.
Teens ages 11-18 welcome! Parents/Guardians must sign permission form in registration before their teen may use the printer.

The Library adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act that assures equal access to all library facilities, activities, and programs. Equipment Use Waiver of Liability
Members of the public who choose to use the Library’s equipment and software are required to sign this Waiver of Liability. Equipment and software are being used for educational programming purposes, and the equipment/software will not be used by patrons outside of programs led by a Library staff member. Users will not be permitted to use the Library equipment or software to create materials that:
- Any that violates local, county, state, or federal law.
- Is unsafe, harmful, dangerous, or pose a threat to the well-being of others.
- In violation of the terms of use of the manufacturer of the equipment/software.
- Inappropriate for the Library environment as defined by applicable laws.
- In violation of a person’s intellectual property rights, e.g. the equipment/software may not be used to reproduce objects which are protected by a copyright, patent, or trademark.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand the terms of this Waiver of Liability agreement. I shall not hold the John P. Holt Brentwood Library or the City of Brentwood responsible for any claims for liability, damage, loss, or injuries of any nature that may arise out of the use of the equipment and software. I further agree to indemnify and hold the John P. Holt Brentwood Library (including its director, employees, and representatives) and the City of Brentwood harmless from any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, penalties, settlements, fines, and expenses that may incur while using the equipment and software. In the event that any damage to the occurs as a result of my use thereof, I acknowledge that I or my parent or legal guardian shall be held liable for that damage. I am aware that this is a release of liability and that I sign it of my own free will.
I HAVE READ THE TERMS ABOVE AND INTEND TO BE LEGALLY BOUND THEREBY. BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, I INTEND FOR MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
