Question Me a Novel In-Person

Question Me a Novel leads you through a series of open-ended, non-prescriptive questions and exercises that can take you all the way from the seed of an idea to a finished book, or move you through a “stuck” spot in your story. Whatever your genre, whether you’re a pantser or a plotter, this nuts & bolts workshop will give you practical, step-by-step strategies to take you from the initial idea to a completed first draft.

Shamus Award nominee JADEN TERRELL is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Private Eye Writers of America, International Thriller Writers, and Sisters in Crime. The former special education teacher is a Magnolia Award recipient for service to the Southeastern Chapter of Mystery Writers of America and is also the former Executive Director of the Killer Nashville Conference, founded by author and independent filmmaker Clay Stafford and held each year in Franklin.

About Sisters in Crime Middle Tennessee
We are the local chapter of Sisters in Crime, an international non-profit dedicated to serving as the voice for excellence and diversity in crime writing. Our chapter Sisters and Mister Sisters range from avid readers to award-winning authors to aspiring up-and-comers. We talk books and the craft of writing, hear from law enforcement and forensic experts, take the occasional field trip, and are a fixture at the Southern Festival of Books. Mostly, we have so much fun it's criminal. Learn more about us at www.sistersincrimemiddletennessee.com.
